I'm Alannah and I am passionate about what I do.
I have been a registered massage therapist for 9 years and through my journey expanded into studies in traditional Chinese medicine, yoga, and Reiki. TCM theory is rooted in the knowing that all things are connected. Our bodies, minds, environment, and all our life experiences, all influence one another and our being as a whole. Through these studies and experience, I have come to understand the importance of viewing the body as an ecosystem.
In our modern-day, busy lives, it is easy to lose sensitivity to our body's more subtle communication. Massage is a supportive therapy in getting people back in their bodies re-establishing this communication and releasing held tension. As an RMT I work closely with the nervous system to re-wire holding patterns held within your body. I use techniques such as craniosacral therapy, Swedish massage, trigger point, and fascial release to help you relax and feel relief. Holding a warm and welcoming space for all is what I love doing the most. I look forward to working with you!
