How I got here

My journey into this work began in my early years, when I decided last minute to withdraw my application for a physical education degree and instead study Yoga and become a yoga instructor. I had no idea how pivotal that decision would be in opening myself up to the world of mindfulness, embodiment, and traditional yogic philosophy and teachings. The physical practice of yoga is what drew me in, but the deeper teachings are what truly transformed my own life.

Studying & sharing yoga greatly inspired me to go deeper leading me to massage therapy school to expand my knowledge of the human body through the Western medical lens. Shortly after graduating from the 3000-hour program in 2014, I moved from my home in the lower mainland to Vancouver Island to begin anew and start my career as an RMT.

Many of my early years as an RMT began in the spa environment, and to this day influences the style of my sessions. I have always loved to create an experience that awakens your senses and allows you to deeply relax, feel relief, and be nurtured.

In 2020 I felt the call to explore other methods of healing, methods that were aligned with a holistic lens, encompassing the body, mind, and spirit. I began studying traditional Chinese medicine and for the past 3 years have been slowly moving through the Acupuncture and Herbology Degree.

The more I learn, the more the desire to learn grows knowing there is endless depths to understanding ourselves as a whole.

After 9 years of exploring Vancouver Island from north to south, I felt it was time to lay roots somewhere new bringing me to Powell River. I feel deeply grateful to have landed in this beautiful, welcoming community and am looking forward to working with you!
